Hi, I’m David, the owner of How May Consulting. I am dedicated to enabling you to be the very best when it comes to managing people, communication, productivity, and training.
I worked for 11 years in foodservice across diverse settings including a nursing home, busy chains, and a struggling 50-seat Lebanese restaurant. I learned on the job the value of prioritization in finding life balance (i.e. productivity). This required me to learn how to deliver measurable results through managing people. Nothing has been more rewarding than those first memories of employees seeing their own potential. In turn, they taught me that developing employees is the best path to serving consumers.
Following my years in restaurants, I got an MBA. My focus was lean innovation, which taught me the importance of relentless consumer understanding.
Then, as an HR manager and regional training leader for a company of 100,000 people, I learned the principles of effective workplace culture, communication, and formal training. Most recently, I’ve been developing leaders in software full-time using the same systems I use as an independent consultant.
